About WWHM
We are a Christian home-school group who want to equip our children with life skills through enrichment studies and academic courses. One day a week, we offer selected classes and activities for students from Pre-K through High School. Our teachers are parents, educators, and experienced individuals who want to share their knowledge and are grounded in God’s Word. We want to be more than just a group of students attending classes together. We seek to be a place where lasting, cherished relationships are formed and nurtured for parents and students.
We meet weekly on Mondays at a Country Acres Baptist Church, 8810 W. 10th, Wichita, KS 67212 (10th & Tyler). The high school classes will meet for 16 weeks while the lower level classes will meet for just 12 weeks each semester.
Classes meet for 55 minutes (some upper academic classes meet for 1 hour and 55 minutes) with the first hour beginning at 8:00 AM and the last ending at 2:55 PM. We have a 55-minute break in the middle of the day. Thirty minutes for Lunch and 25 minutes to allow time for friends to visit, celebrate birthdays and holidays, conduct monthly parent meetings and other informative meetings.
